ABOUT THE EVENT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LASER FILAMENTATION Dates to be announced in early 2021 Doha, Qatar We have the pleasure to announce that the next International Conference on Laser Filamentation, COFIL 2020, will take place in Doha, Qatar. COFIL 2020 is the 8th of a very successful series of biennial conferences bringing together scientists working in the field of ultrashort and intense laser filamentation and its applications. The conference also attracts scientists from other fields interested in discussing the present status and future perspectives of this topic.

The 2020 meeting aims to enhance awareness of current research activities and recent developments, draw attendance from leading professionals from all over the world and bring together a large representative of top-level scientists and researchers of this domain. It is an opportunity for the whole community to meet, create new collaborations, share technical information and built trustworthy relationships internationally.

The conference will take place in the 5-star hotel Hilton Doha, located in the waterfront promenade Corniche, just a few steps from the heart of the city center.
